ARTIST'S BIO
I was born and raised in the northeast of England. I moved to Canada at age 20 where I spent many years in the wide open spaces of the Canadian prairies, juggling a career, raising children and painting. I was largely self-taught until moving to the beautiful city of Victoria, BC, where I received more formal training and can now concentrate fully on my art. I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. I've now been painting for nearly 40 years.
Shown here are samples of my work. Most of it is in watercolours, unless otherwise noted. There is a wide variety of subjects - pet portraits, landscapes, seascapes, flowers, etc. The paintings are of varying sizes and prices. ART CARDS of your favourite images are available. PRINTS of most pieces are available and are a very enjoyable alternative.
